St Mary's NHS Trust is an acute hospital trust which was created in 1992 to provide specialist and general hospital services to the communities of Westminster and surrounding areas.
The Trust comprises St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, founded in 1845, the Western Eye Hospital in Marylebone, founded in 1906, and runs some services from St Charles Hospital in Ladbroke Grove. It is managed by an executive team and governed by a Trust board which consists of a Chairman, executive directors and non-executive directors.
Meeting once a month, the Trust Board''s role is to monitor the work of the organisation, set policies, agendae and strategies for the future.
