Downtown Management was established in London and branched out from Play Recording based in the notorious 8 Berwick Street, Soho. Previously this building housed the mythological ÂBerwick Street StudiosÂ, recording legendary artists such as Ringo Star, Chemical Brothers, Van Morrison, Danni Minogue and many more.
In the last couple of years, Downtown Management has run projects for amazingly talented emerging artists. You can listen to their work on the official website www.downtownmanagement.co.uk
After seeing so many potential top recording artists coming through the doors at Play Recording Studios, it was decided a management company would be created to give these new artists a helping hand in the music industry. Most of these artists simply donÂt know where and how to start their career. This inspired Downtown to decide to collaborate with several producers and labels to help their artists get radio play, live gigs, show cases and ultimately a record deal.
Downtown Management hand picks artists who stand out and during the audition process to go forward and take part in their original artist development projects. They then give the artists the foot in the door these artists need in such a competitive industry.
